Northwind Farm Meat Share

The Meat share is a weekly distribution of 6-8lbs of local, naturally raised meat.

Southside CSA is stoked to be partnering with Northwind Farm for our 3rd season of the “Meat Share”. The weekly share consists of 6-8 lbs of meat, poultry, ﬁsh and smoked meat.

That’s right — this year the share will also include some fish. The fish come from Local Ocean in Hudson. The fish are farm raised saltwater fish . They are raised without hormones. Northwind Farm has been handling the Royal Dorade (aka Sea Breem). The fish come whole. They are harvested and then delivered the same day to Northwind Farm who clean & scale the fish and then freeze them.

The cost breaks down to $55 a week. (Last years cost breakdown was $50 per week. Our farmers are working real hard to keep the shares affordable even though they have been impacted by a big increase in the cost of feed)

2013 Pricing

Northwind is offering 3 Full share weekly delivery options:

$1320 = 24 weeks running 4-29-2013 to 10-7-2013
$1045 = 19 weeks running 6-3-2013 to 10-7-2013
$ 825 = 15 weeks running 7-1-2013 to 10-7-2013

In addition, this year we have several Half Share Options to choose from:

A week distribution Half Share options:

$660 = 12 weeks with delivery on the following dates:
- 4-29, 5-13, 5-27, 6-10, 6-24, 7-8, 7-22, 8-5, 8-19, 9-2, 9-16, 9-30
$550= 10 weeks with delivery on the following dates:
- 5-27, 6-10, 6-24, 7-8, 7-22, 8-5, 8-19, 9-2, 9-16, 9-30
$440= 8 weeks with delivery on the following dates:
- 6-24, 7-8, 7-22, 8-5, 8-19, 9-9, 9-16, 9-30

B week distribution Half Share options:

$660= 12 weeks with delivery on the following dates:
- 5-6, 5-20, 6-3, 6-17, 7-1, 7-15, 7-29, 8-12, 8-26,9-9, 9-23, 10-7
$550= 10 weeks with delivery on the following dates:
- 6-3, 6-17, 7-1, 7-15, 7-29, 8-12, 8-26, 9-9, 9-23, 10-7
$440= 8 weeks with delivery on the following dates:
