
Members Alyssa & Mathieu will be hosting a seasonal cooking demo on Tues Sept 28th. Join Chef Mathieu Palombino of Motorino as he digs into his French roots and shares with us the secrets behind a great Pot-au-Feu (“pot on the fire”). Tuesday September 28th. 630-830pm. @ Brooklyn Kitchen Labs (100 Frost St)
Pot-au-Feu is a hearty stew that can be modified to include in-season vegetables at any time of the year. it is a particularly good recipe for taking advantage of the meager offerings of our winter farmer’s markets. A second recipe (TBD) will be presented on cards and available to taste, but not demonstrated.

While this demo is technically a free community event for Southside CSA members, we will be “passing the hat” to help cover the overhead costs. (& giving serious props to Brooklyn Kitchen!)
