Week #15 – Sept 20th (A week)

Oh what a lovely September evening it was last night! It was also our penultimate berry share pick up (boo – end of the berry season!) and Norman very nicely topped the berries off with some delicious apples.

Here is a list of what we got:

Vegetables:

• 1 bunch pink radishes
• 1/2 lb tomatoes
• 1 bunch carrots
• 2 enormous beets
• 2 leeks
• 2 red peppers
• 1 bunch collard greens
• 1 head lettuce
• 1 acorn squash
• 2 little pumpkins

Orchard:

• 1 lb golden ginger apples (i think)
• 1 lb gala apples
• 2 lb Bartlet pears

Eggs

One dozen of the lovliest happy hen farm fresh eggs

Berry Share

• 1 pint of red or yellow raspberries
• 1 bucket of just picked apples
