Hope 2011 is treating you swell. It has been a great winter so far for the Southside CSA. We have had 2 great Winter Share distributions. The fresh pea shoots are heaven sent, the frozen tomatoes, broccoli, & corn add the most fabulous touch to my seasonal stews, and don’t even get me started about the frozen raspberries and blueberries. Beyond brilliant. And our Broken Stove Beer share has its first distribution this upcoming Monday. Homebrew hurrah!

Of course, the Winter (Sun) Share & MimoMex Eggs have made us nostalgic for the sunny days of eating berries in the backyard while plotting something wicked for the BBQ.

Our farmers will need to sell more eggs, especially as the weather gets warmer. Yup, that’s right folks. The focus on the farm has turned to Spring planting and plans for warmer weather. The chickens start laying more eggs as the temps creep back above freezing. Because there are not as many year round greenmarkets, our farmer needs a market for his eggs. To that end, we want to add another egg share distribution starting in March. Stay tuned for sign up details coming Sun Jan 23rd.
We are working on setting up a sign up schedule for 2011. Give us a few to get it sorted. As always, shoot us an email to get added to lists or just sign up for this blog’s RSS Feed. We typically update the blog far more than we send emails.

Hi,
What time do I have to be there on Monday (3/28) in order to get the Woods $575? Also, is this the last Monday to sign up? Please let me know ASAP.
Thanks!
